Weetabix Wildcats
I’m proud to say that Kingsdown Lions have been appointed by the FA as the official provider of the following two dedicated Female football in the community programmes:
Weetabix Wildcats (for 5-11 year olds)
SquadGirls (for 12-14 year olds)
These are weekly Free-of-Charge football sessions that we will offer to the local community via a dedicated coach at Kingsdown School every Sunday. The programme is designed to introduce football to girls in a non-competitive environment where they do not need to commit to playing for a team or playing in matches. This allows them to explore the game and hopefully develop a love and passion to perhaps continue into a formal pathway (like that provided by our Lionesses teams run by Simon Bradbury).
All players must arrive 15 minutes before the training start time and meet the manager in the car park to gain access to the site. No codes will be shared with parents or players.

The sessions are scheduled to run on Sundays at Kingsdown with the following start date and times:
Wildcats – 23rd April 11am-12pm
Squadgirls – 23rd April 12pm-1pm
Please share with everyone & anyone – Sisters, Cousins or friends of our existing members. Spread the word and encourage them to come along to try it out (did I mention it will be free of charge). Of course any of our existing girl members who would like to participate are very welcome too.
The sessions will be run on the front pitch at Kingsdown so all they would need to consider would be appropriate footwear. There will be no contact so shin pads are not required.
