Nikki Edmondson

My name is Nikki Edmondson, and I have been coaching at Kingsdown Lions FC since June 2023. I started coaching when the club needed support and my daughter was looking for a team, giving girls the chance to play, develop, and enjoy grassroots football.

Highlights

It has been incredibly rewarding to see the team grow in confidence and ability, with some players progressing into academy football pathways. I was also proud to receive Wiltshire’s Female Coach of the Year award for my contribution to the female pathway.

My Approach

I aim to create a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment where every player feels supported. I adapt my coaching to suit individual players and use a mix of practical, visual, and game-based activities to help them learn and improve.

Club Support

Alongside coaching my own team, I support the club committee and help other coaches with training sessions and match days when needed. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to every session, supported by three fantastic coaches who share the same passion for developing the girls. ⚽️
