Kingsdown Lionesses Squad Girls / Weetabix Wildcats is part of Kingsdown football in Swindon, with a welcoming environment focused on enjoying and developing the game. Training takes place at Kingsdown School, Hyde Road, Stratton St Margaret.

We’re proud to say that Kingsdown Lions have been appointed by the FA as the official provider of the following two dedicated female football community programmes:

**Weetabix Wildcats** – for girls aged 5–11
**Squad Girls** – for girls aged 12–14

These are weekly **free-of-charge football sessions** that we will be offering to the local community, delivered by a dedicated coach at Kingsdown School every Sunday.

The programmes are designed to introduce girls to football in a fun, friendly and non-competitive environment. There is no requirement to commit to joining a team or playing in matches, giving girls the opportunity to simply enjoy the game, build confidence and hopefully develop a love and passion for football.

For those who would like to continue into a more formal football pathway, opportunities are also available through our Kingsdown Lionesses teams.

You can find out more about each programme here:

Squad Girls:

The sessions will take place on Sundays at Kingsdown, with the following start dates and times:

**Wildcats – 23rd April, 11am–12pm**
**Squad Girls – 23rd April, 12pm–1pm**

Please share this with everyone and anyone who may be interested – sisters, cousins, friends or family members of our existing players. We would really appreciate your help in spreading the word and encouraging girls to come along and give football a try.

And did we mention that it’s completely **free of charge**?

Of course, any of our existing female players who would also like to participate are very welcome to come along.

Sessions will take place on the front pitch at Kingsdown, so participants simply need to wear suitable footwear. There will be no contact involved, so shin pads are not required.

The Kingsdown Lions Management Committee would really appreciate everyone’s support in spreading the word and helping us introduce even more girls in our local community to football.
